Eric Hehr is a multi-instrumentalist, producer, songwriter, and composer. For over fifteen years, Eric has toured internationally as a guitarist, bassist, and keys player for a wide variety of artists and bands. In addition to working in studios across Chicago, Austin, Los Angeles, and Long Beach as a producer, arranger, and musical director, Eric’s own music has appeared across film and TV, including nationally syndicated placements in commercials for
McDonald’s, Supercuts, Crayola, and many more.

Eric has over 10 years of teaching experience and has taught music lessons in Chicago, IL, Hinsdale, IL, and Burbank, CA, where he served as both a seasonal show director and private instructor. His teaching methodology is customized to each student’s interests and goals, emphasizing proper technique, strong fundamentals, and real-world insight from his extensive experience performing on stage, recording in studios, and touring globally. 

Eric is thrilled to join Foothills Music Academy, where he looks forward to sharing his passion for music and passing along his knowledge as a professional musician and composer. Whether students are beginners picking up an instrument for the first time or experienced players aiming to expand their musicality, Eric is committed to helping each student grow, explore creativity, and reach their full potential.
