Tim Gaisser is an instructor with 6 years experience in teaching various instruments in private lessons, marching band, and masterclasses from the elementary and collegiate level. Tim graduated from the University of Evansville with his Bachelors in Music Performance with a Minor in Jazz Studies where he also spent some time studying and interning in education at the elementary school level. Following his Bachelors degree, he studied Broadway Percussion at New York University and received a degree in Contemporary Drum Performance from the Los Angeles College of Music where he studied with some of the top names in the industry including Ralph Humphrey and Russ Miller.
His influences are very diverse, taking direction from the many genres he covers as a professional performer and studio musician. These include, but are not limited to; Classical, Rock, Pop, Latin/World, Funk, Fusion, Jazz, Metal, and Experimental music. Tim enjoys sharing the craft of music as much as he does performing and has a great ability to connect with students of all ages and levels.
