Fay began the study of piano at the age of four. She is a classically trained pianist who received her Bachelor of Music degree, summa cum laude, from Chulalongkorn University. She was also trained at Boston Conservatory and Illinois State University for her Master of Music in piano performance. Her teachers have included Jenny Peung, Siriporn Srimanoontipul, Tongsuang Israngkul, Janice Weber, Leslie Amper, and Gillert Modos. Fay also studied conducting with Tongsuang Israngkul, Koji Kawamoto and Glenn Block.
Fay continues to gain recognition as a specialized interpreter of Bach. She has performed two concertos: Keyboard Concerto in D minor, BWV 1052 and in D Major, BWV 1054. As a pianist, Fay has performed with string quarters and orchestra including the Chualongkorn String Quarter and Symphony Orchestra, as well as Illinois State University String Quartet and Symphony Orchestra. She also joined a KPN Tsunami concert to raise money to help victims of the tsunami tragedy in the south part of Thailand during 2004. In addition to the above Fay is a member of the American Music Therapy Assocation (AMTA). While she was in Illinois, she was a volunteer at Evergreen Place (an assisted living facility in Normal, IL) and Westminster Village (a nursing home). She had many great opportunities to work with people with disabilities and is one of her many specialties. In those experiences, Fay acquired special knowledge with communication skills and teaching method. They broadened her awareness for professional responsibility and better prepared her for a future in assisting the elderly and those with disabilities. Her patience is extraordinary and whether she is teaching a 2 year old or an 80 year old she achieves amazing results.
